Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Joshua Rayborn's story, especially as a father myself. I can't even begin to imagine what his wife and those two little kids are going through right now. A devoted dad and husband taken away in the blink of an eye—all over what sounds like a small-time drug deal. It's just tragic. I wonder about the role of violence in neighborhoods like Bridgeport and how it's impacting families just trying to live their lives. It's gut-wrenching to know that Joshua's kids have to grow up without their dad because of all this senseless gun violence. I hope we, as a community, start addressing these issues more aggressively so we can prevent such futures for more families.
