Has anyone else been struck by the fact that there are still no suspects or arrests in Kerwin Williams' case? It’s been years, and I can only imagine how frustrating and agonizing this must be for his family and friends. I've been following the updates from the Illinois State Police and it’s clear they’re committed to finding answers, but the wait must feel endless for those who knew and loved Kerwin. East St. Louis has seen too much of this kind of violence, and it just makes me wonder how the community can rally together to prevent these tragedies from continuing. It seems like Kerwin was deeply loved by those around him, as reflected in the turnout for his funeral at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. If anyone knows of any community efforts or vigils planned in his honor, I’d love to hear about them. Let's keep his memory alive and support the call for justice in any way we can.
