I've been thinking a lot about the neighborhood where Andrew and Urstin were killed. It's so unsettling to imagine that their lives were taken right in the vestibule of a condo building—a place that should feel secure. It's hard to shake the feeling that they were targeted, especially since the authorities mentioned it didn’t seem random. This wasn’t just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but something deeper. It brings home the reality that knowing people in our community can sometimes put us at risk rather than offer safety. My heart really goes out to the families. To be left with questions and no answers must be beyond frustrating and painful. The lingering uncertainty about what really happened that night is something no one should have to endure. I hope with all my being that someone steps forward with information and that Andrew and Urstin’s loved ones get the answers they desperately need. Is anyone else from Alsip? How is the community holding up? It’s a small town, and I can’t imagine how it feels there right now.

Has anyone else been following the case of Andrew Scott Jr. and Urstin Adams? It's so hard to imagine the pain their families are going through right now. I can't stop thinking about the fact that this happened right inside a condo building—a place where people should feel safe. It's unsettling to consider that the shooter must have had some level of familiarity with the victims and potentially the area. What really caught my attention is how the police have stated that there's no immediate threat to the community. This seems to imply they might have a strong lead on who did this, but still, no arrests? I'm curious if any of you locals have heard any updates or if there's been talk around the neighborhood about possible suspects. I just wish there was more transparency from the authorities—these families deserve answers, and the neighborhood deserves peace of mind.
