Does anyone else find it odd how Mark seemed to have the same pattern of disappearing and then resurfacing later? I mean, it can't be easy living on the streets or in shelters, especially during the cold months around December. But this time, it just feels different. It's been so many years, and there's still nothing substantial to go on. I wonder if something happened in Livermore around that time or if he mentioned any plans to friends that didn't get taken seriously due to his past behavior. The fact that he knew the areas of Pleasanton and Dublin so well might mean he had specific places he'd go to. Maybe someone from a nearby shelter remembers seeing him or chatting with him around that time? It just feels like somebody, somewhere, must have noticed something, even if they don't realize it's important yet.
