I haven't been able to stop thinking about the tragic events surrounding Nasjay R. Murry and Anthony Polnitz. It's utterly upsetting to hear about a young life filled with so much promise being cut short. What’s especially alarming is the lack of clarity about whether they were directly targeted or just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache their families and friends are going through. It truly hits home, considering Nasjay had such a bright future ahead of her and chose to stay closer to her loved ones for her education. Attending a party should never have ended in something so devastating. I hope anyone who may have seen something that night comes forward. It’s imperative to bring justice for both Nasjay and Anthony. And for the students at Bradley who must be feeling such fear and sadness – lean on those counseling services. None of this makes any sense, and everyone affected deserves support and closure. My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Nasjay.
