I was recently thinking about the environmental conditions in the Back of the Yards neighborhood where Jamarion Jackson was found. This area has seen its share of hardships, and I can't help but wonder how much these conditions might contribute to the lack of cooperation from witnesses. Could it be fear of retaliation or just a sense of hopelessness that nothing will ever change despite speaking up? Seeing so many people in the community stand up and support his family gives me hope that there might still be a way to break the cycle. If you know anything but are hesitant to come forward, maybe consider that it could bring about some positive change, not just for Jamarion's family, but hopefully for the whole neighborhood. The more people come together, the stronger we can make our communities, right?
