I've been following Anthony Perry's case for a while now, and something that's really stuck with me is the courage his family showed throughout the trial. It's hard to imagine standing strong in such a difficult time, especially when you're constantly reminded of your loss in such a public way. I truly admire how they kept advocating for justice, not just for Anthony, but for all victims of street violence. Their voices during the trial were not only seeking justice but also trying to break the cycle of violence that so many families endure. I hope that their efforts pave the way for more community involvement and empowerment in Chicago. Such tragedy shouldn't go unnoticed, and their resilience certainly left a mark on me.
