I was reading about Kendall Brown's case again and can't help but feel a sense of sadness for his loved ones. It's so difficult to imagine the pain his family must be going through, knowing his life was so callously taken. I've seen a lot of people discussing the crime in relation to broader issues in Chicago, but I really feel it's important to remember that Kendall was a person with friends and family who cared for him. One thing that's been on my mind is the white Jeep involved in the shooting. It's strange how it was burned just blocks away from where everything happened. I can't help but think about the audacity and planning it takes to commit a crime like this and try to cover it up. It makes me wonder if someone knew Kendall personally or had some vendetta against him. I really hope that with enough attention and community support, someone might feel compelled to come forward with information. Kendall's family deserves closure and justice, and the neighborhood deserves to feel safe again. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy.
