I was reading through some old cases and came across Stoney Jones. I can't stop thinking about the store worker who witnessed the whole thing. It must’ve been so terrifying to see that unfold and feel so helpless at that moment. I really hope that the worker, or anyone else who might have seen something, can eventually find courage or feel safe enough to come forward. It might only take a small piece of information to help Stoney's family get the justice they deserve. Chicago can be such a tough place with these crimes happening, and we all need to keep them in our thoughts as they wait for answers. It's hard to imagine what witnessing something like that does to someone’s mind and soul; hope they’ve got support to deal with this trauma.
