I’ve been thinking a lot about Steve Nixon’s case, and something that keeps bothering me is the apparent lack of surveillance footage from the area. The Loop is usually bustling and filled with cameras on nearly every corner, not to mention the possibility of dash cams from other vehicles. It’s puzzling that despite all this potential evidence, the case hasn’t moved forward significantly. Could it be that there’s footage available that hasn’t been released to the public yet? Or perhaps the footage was too unclear to identify anything concrete? I truly hope the investigators are utilizing every resource they have to piece together what happened. My heart goes out to Steve’s family and friends. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful not having answers after all this time. I just hope the community continues to support them and push for justice. If anyone hears of any updates or has insights into how these types of investigations typically proceed, it would be great to share and discuss them here.
