Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the Pedro Vasquez case, and I keep thinking about his family and how incredibly difficult this must be for them. Losing someone in such a horrific manner, and then dealing with the long ordeal before his passing, must have been unimaginably painful. I'm curious about the community's perspective on how families cope with these extended legal processes. It must be so draining to continually relive those moments, especially when court dates are set so far apart. I'd love to hear thoughts on what kind of support systems or resources might be available to families going through such a hard time. Also, a shoutout to anyone from the Humboldt Park area—how has the neighborhood reacted to the news over these past years? I imagine that this tragic event hit the community hard. Sending strength and love to those who knew Pedro.
