Hi everyone, I've been following Deontae Davenport's case and wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. It’s truly bothersome how there seems to be a lack of progress in the investigation. Here we are, over four years later, and there's still no answer for Deontae’s family and friends. It's frustrating to see this happen again and again, especially in areas like Lawndale, where families are left without closure. From what I've read, Deontae lived in the same neighborhood where he was killed. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for his loved ones to walk those same streets every day, knowing what happened and not having justice served. It makes you wonder what more community members can do to support each other and bring some resolution to this. Does anyone else think there might be more witnesses than we realize? I hope someone out there who knows something finds the courage to come forward. Deontae deserves that, at the very least, and his family needs peace.
