I was reading about the tragic case of Jimmie Washington, and something that's really been bothering me is how these communities continue to suffer in silence. It's been so long, yet his family hasn't seen justice served. I can’t imagine the ongoing pain for Jimmie’s loved ones, not knowing who was responsible or why this happened. There seems to be such a lack of progress in the investigation, and I wonder if there's been any renewed efforts or support to push things forward. It makes me think about how many other cases like this go unsolved, leaving families without closure. Sending strength and support to all those impacted by this senseless act of violence.
