Has anyone else been following the case of Eugene M. Holmes Jr.? It's just so upsetting to think about what his family and friends must be going through right now. I was recently reading about his involvement in the Burger Theory restaurant at the Holiday Inn & Suites and couldn't help but think of how his absence is felt not only by his loved ones but also by his coworkers and customers. It sounds like Eugene was someone who brought joy and positivity to his workplace, and that spirit is surely missed. It's maddening that the investigation hasn't seen much progress, and no arrests have been made. I can't imagine the frustration of not having answers or justice for Eugene's family. I hope the Joliet Police Department receives the tips and information they need to move forward. Eugene deserves justice, and so do his family and friends who are left grappling with this senseless tragedy. To those in Joliet or anyone who might know something, please consider coming forward with any information, no matter how small it might seem. It's the least we can do to support Eugene's loved ones in this incredibly trying time.
