Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on Candice's young boys? It breaks my heart to imagine what they're going through. Losing their mom so suddenly, especially when she was doing something to reward them, must be beyond difficult. They were just there, ready to celebrate a happy moment, and everything changed in an instant. I'm hoping they have a strong support system surrounding them to help navigate through this tough time. I can only imagine the burden and confusion they're shouldering at such a young age. If anyone knows of ways to support families like Candice’s in the aftermath of such tragedies, please share. Maybe there's a charity or organization dedicated to helping children cope with the loss of a parent due to violence? I feel like we need to uplift them in any way we can.

I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Candice Dickerson, and one thing that stands out to me is just how random and senseless this violence was. It really breaks my heart that she was just at that MetroPCS store to do something kind and loving for her son, and in an instant, her life was taken by a bullet that wasn't even meant for her. Candice seemed like such a devoted mom, working as a pharmacy tech to support her family. It's so unfair that her kids are growing up without their mother now, and I can’t imagine the resilience it must take for her family to move forward. I hope there’s continued support around them from their community as they navigate this unimaginable loss. It’s just another reminder of how deeply the issue of gang violence affects so many lives, often in ways we can't foresee.
