I’ve been thinking a lot about the memorial page set up for Justin Denelle Wilson, and it’s really touching to see 192 candles lit so far. It says a lot about the kind of person he was and the impact he had on those around him. I came across a comment where someone described him as “kind-hearted,” which just makes this all the more tragic. It’s clear he left a lasting impression on his community. It’s extremely frustrating that there hasn’t been any progress on the case. It seems like gun violence is such a pervasive issue in areas like East Garfield Park, but that shouldn’t mean justice goes unserved. I really hope the community continues to press for answers and doesn’t let this case fade into the background. Justin deserves that, and so does his family. Anyone else notice a similar situation in their community? Would love to hear how others are coping or if there’s been any positive community action that could serve as a model.

I've been following the case of Justin Denelle Wilson, and I'm really struck by how much love the community has shown for him through the memorial page. I was reading some of the comments and it's clear that Justin was deeply cherished by those who knew him. It's so touching to see 192 candles lit in his memory, serving as a testament to the positive impact he had on people's lives. In times like this, it's the collective support and remembrance that keep his spirit alive, providing some solace to his loved ones in what must be an incredibly difficult time. It’s just so sad to see another case go unsolved, leaving a family and a community without answers. I truly hope more attention is brought to his case, and that those responsible are eventually brought to justice. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him.
