I'm feeling particularly moved today thinking about Lamario Birge's unsolved case. I can't even imagine the pain his family must be going through, knowing that his killer is still out there. It's incredibly frustrating that the investigation seems to be at a standstill due to a lack of witnesses and leads. I know Chicago has been overwhelmed with violence, but every one of these victims had people who loved them, lives that were cut short far too soon. I hope that someone comes forward with information that could help solve Lamario's case. He deserves justice, and his family deserves some measure of closure.
