Has anyone else read about Amanda Legare's case and the two other homicides linked to it? I find it so puzzling that they all happened in such a short timeframe and in similar locations. I can’t begin to imagine how Amanda’s family, especially her young daughter, is coping with this terrible loss. What gives me pause is the disparity between the investigators’ view and Donnell Jordan's belief that Amanda’s murder isn’t connected to the others. There's definitely something that feels off about this situation. Could there be more going on here than what's been reported? My heart goes out to all the families involved. I hope the police can find some leads soon to bring the killer(s) to justice. Would love to hear thoughts on how the community might come together to support the investigation and the victims' families.
It’s been so disturbing to read about the recent tragedies in East St. Louis. I can’t stop thinking about Amanda Legare and her young daughter, Sundai. I keep wondering how little Sundai is coping with this unimaginable loss. It's one thing to hear about these stories in the news, but when you really imagine the personal impact, it hits differently. Losing her mother at such a tender age, and to violence, no less, is something no child should ever have to endure.
What I find particularly troubling is all the uncertainty hanging over these cases. Despite the similarities in the three tragic incidents, Amanda's family believes there is no connection. I can only imagine how confusing and painful this must be for them as they try to make sense of it all. The lack of clear answers must be so agonizing. It's a grim reminder of how vital it is for communities to come together in the face of such loss and work alongside law enforcement to find justice for these victims.
If anyone in the community knows anything, even something seemingly insignificant, now's the time to share it with the authorities. We owe it to Amanda, Sandra, Bridgette, and their families to help bring some peace to their lives. My thoughts are with Sundai and all the loved ones left behind.
