It's so disheartening to see another young life taken too soon. I think about Sean Donnie Blackwell and wonder about the kind of person he was and the dreams he must have had. It must be incredibly painful for his family and friends to know that his case remains unsolved, just one of many in Baltimore that year. Ravenwood Road, specifically, seemed like such a dangerous place in 2007. With all the crime going on, I wonder if the community or local organizations have since taken steps to support one another and work toward change. It'd be inspiring to hear stories about people who are making efforts to improve these neighborhoods. I'm hoping that someday we'll see more justice for victims like Sean and that his family can find some peace. Thoughts are with them as they continue to seek answers.
