Hey everyone, I just read about Erik McNeal's case, and I can’t help but feel for his family right now. It seems like the case has stalled a bit with no arrests or strong leads. What really strikes me is the lack of witnesses or surveillance footage. It's 2019, you'd think there’d be something, right? Has anyone here heard if there's any effort to increase the use of street cameras or community-led initiatives to help in areas with high crime rates like West Pullman? It must be incredibly frustrating for his family and friends not to have answers. All we can do is hope someone comes forward with information soon. If they are calling for more community engagement, maybe there's a chance to step up efforts in Erik's name. Let's keep spreading the word and keeping his story alive.
