Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Deangelo Smith, and I've been thinking a lot about the 19-year-old who survived the attack. It must be incredibly difficult for him – not only dealing with the physical recovery but also the emotional trauma of losing Deangelo. Surviving such an ordeal can leave scars that aren't always visible. I can’t even begin to imagine what he’s going through.
It’s crucial that he gets all the support he needs, both from the people around him and from mental health professionals. If anyone knows local resources in Chicago for trauma survivors, it could be worth sharing that information to help him and others in similar situations.
I hope justice for Deangelo can bring some measure of peace to everyone involved. It's so frustrating when it feels like there are more questions than answers.
Stay safe, everyone, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any info that might help solve this case. Every bit counts.
Thanks for listening.
I was just reading about the tragic case of Deangelo Smith, and it really got me thinking about the overwhelming impact gun violence has on our communities. It's so frustrating to see another promising life cut short and a family left to grapple with such a profound loss. Deangelo was only 27, and he had so much ahead of him.
It’s particularly concerning that this happened in the Gresham neighborhood, which has seen its share of violence. The lack of witnesses is really complicating things, and I just hope someone who knows something finds the courage to speak out. There must be answers out there somewhere, and his loved ones deserve closure.
Can anyone in the local area share how the community is responding? Are there any groups or initiatives focusing on reducing violence in that neighborhood? It’s times like this when we need to come together and support one another, not just to prevent such tragedies, but to honor the lives of those we've lost, like Deangelo.
