I can't stop thinking about the role of surveillance footage in cases like this. It seems that the video evidence was pretty crucial in bringing some clarity to what happened to Ronnie Howard. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through, losing him so suddenly and senselessly. It makes me wonder if these cameras, which we see more and more of these days, might help deter crimes in high-risk areas, or at least make it easier to hold people accountable. It’s so tragic that lives are still lost despite the presence of technology that can help piece together the events. Does anyone think increased surveillance could change how these situations play out, or is it just one small piece of a much larger puzzle? My heart goes out to Ronnie’s loved ones during this difficult time.
