I’ve been following the Xavier McCoy case since it happened, and it's just so incredibly tragic. I can't stop thinking about the immense loss his family and friends must be feeling. What breaks my heart is how something as simple and joyful as playing basketball turned into such a devastating event. That park should be a place where the community comes together, but now it's marked by this terrible incident. I really hope the investigation makes progress soon. It’s unsettling to think the person responsible is still out there. Community safety should be a priority, and there must be more done to prevent these violent outbursts. I also think it’s so important for those who know anything to come forward, even the smallest detail might help the police track down the suspect and bring some closure to Xavier's loved ones. We owe it to them to find some justice amidst all this pain.
