Has anyone else noticed how quiet everything got after T'Kai Crayton's memorial service? For a moment, it seemed like the whole community was united in grief and trying to support T'Kai's family as much as possible. I can't help but feel for them—losing such a young soul is unimaginable. But now, it feels like the momentum has slowed down and people have moved on to other things. I get that life continues, but I hope the community keeps its focus on getting answers and justice for T'Kai. Does anyone have any updates or know if there are ongoing efforts to keep the conversation alive? We can't let this slip away into silence like so many other cases do.

I've been following T'Kai Crayton’s case closely and one thing that’s been on my mind is how essential community involvement is in these situations. Decatur, like many places, is struggling with the impact of gun violence, and this tragedy really underscores the need for all of us to come together. It’s heartbreaking to think about T’Kai’s potential and how it was cut short so abruptly. His family and friends shouldn’t be left to seek justice alone. I'm really hoping that more people who may have seen or heard anything will come forward, even if it seems minor. Sometimes the smallest pieces of information can make the biggest difference in solving a case. It’s important that we support local efforts to curb violence and create a safer environment for everyone. We owe it to T’Kai and others who've been lost too soon. Let's keep his family in our thoughts and do whatever we can to help them find the answers they deserve. ?
