Given Percy's active role in the community and his caring nature, it just feels right for the community to have a place to remember him. I can't imagine how his family felt being told to remove something so meaningful. It seems there should be more clear guidelines that consider the emotional impact on grieving families, ensuring they’re treated with the empathy and respect they deserve. I hope this conversation leads to changes that respect both the city’s needs and the families' need for a grieving space. My heart goes out to Percy's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
