I’ve been thinking about the Daniel family's neighbors during this tragic time. It must be so difficult for the folks on Hillcrest Avenue who knew Phyllis and Charles for years, seeing them every day and chatting over the fence or at local gatherings. I bet it’s quite the shock for them – what they imagined as a normal day turned into something they couldn’t fathom happening in their community. It's these small, tight-knit towns where everyone looks after one another that get shaken the most by such events. I hope the community comes together to support Rachel, Philip, and little Ian, just as Phyllis and Charles would have done. If anyone knows of any local efforts to help the family, whether it’s through donations or other forms of support, please do share. Keeping them all in my thoughts.
