I just found out that Danyal P. Jones was taking night classes, aiming to get her degree and make a better life for herself and her family. It’s so difficult to make sense of how someone with such promise and drive could be taken away so suddenly. As a student myself, I can’t help but feel the deep unfairness of it all. She didn't deserve this end while trying to improve her life, and it’s infuriating that her killer is still out there. Sending strength to her family and hoping that her dreams and aspirations might still inspire others in her community. It's so important for us all to push for change and ensure that stories like Danyal's are not repeated. Anyone else here a student and feeling a similar connection?
