I've been following the discussion surrounding Robert English's case, and something that has been bothering me is the lack of information on community impact or potential witnesses. The Austin neighborhood is tight-knit, and it's hard to believe that no one saw anything or hasn't come forward with information. I wonder if people are hesitant to speak up due to fear of retaliation, especially given the widespread violence at the time. It's truly concerning that Robert's case seems to have been overshadowed by the larger narrative of violence that weekend. While I understand there was a lot going on, I really hope the community can rally together to bring some justice and answers to his family. If anyone has connections in the area or knows how we might help encourage safe channels for witnesses to come forward, it could make a real difference.
