I’ve been thinking about the role of surveillance footage in Victor Hudson’s case. It’s chilling to know that the entire incident was captured on video. While it’s deeply distressing for the family to have such footage exist, it also serves as crucial evidence. It’s frustrating how some people can dismiss video evidence, claiming it doesn’t tell the whole story. But in situations like this, it feels vital for justice. I can’t imagine how Victor’s family must be coping with knowing the moment their loved one was lost is documented and exists for analysis in a courtroom. I hope that this clear evidence helps bring some semblance of justice for Victor, and maybe some closure for his family. Such a senseless loss—my heart goes out to them.
