Might be worth discussing the role of short-term rental platforms in events like this. Jamez Elem lost his life at a house rented through Airbnb or Vrbo, and it's alarming how these properties can turn into chaos. It feels like there's often inadequate screening or accountability with short-term rentals. I'm not saying these platforms are directly responsible, but should they be doing more to prevent gatherings that get out of hand? It's concerning, especially when something as tragic as this happens. My thoughts are with Jamez's family and friends. They shouldn’t have to worry about safety when attending a social gathering.
