It's a stark reminder of how deeply entrenched the issue of gun violence is in Baltimore. One thing that's sticking with me is what Reverend C. Anthony Hunt said during the service about the urgency of tackling this crisis. It's baffling how, even as people were gathering to pay their respects, the cycle of violence continued to rear its head. It makes me wonder what it will take to bring real change and security to communities like this one.
