Has anyone else been following the case of Elvira Rivera Babb? I just stumbled across a detail that has me puzzled. Why would someone send a ransom demand for $60,000 to her son when she had recently filed for bankruptcy? It seems odd to me that if the people involved knew her (like Emmanuel Espinoza), they'd be aware of her financial situation, right? This leads me to wonder if there was another motive beyond money. Maybe it's more personal or out of desperation? I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks about this angle. It just doesn't add up, and I'm curious if anyone has more insights or theories about it.
