Has anyone else been struck by how social media played a role in Sean Wilson's case? It's so unsettling to think about how platforms we use daily can be exploited in such dangerous ways. From what I understand, interactions leading up to the robbery were traced back to messages exchanged online. It’s heartbreaking to see technology, which could be used to bring communities together, being twisted to facilitate such tragedies. Even beyond Sean’s case, this is a wake-up call about online safety and the need to monitor these digital spaces more closely. I'm hoping his family finds some peace and that there’s greater awareness around protecting young people involved in these networks. What are everyone else's thoughts on how social media should handle situations like this? Does anyone think platforms should be doing more to help prevent these interactions before they escalate?
