I can’t stop thinking about how Cornelius's story reflects such a devastating reality in so many neighborhoods. It’s just so frustrating. How can we live in a world where a 19-year-old walking with his friends can just be taken away like that? In areas like Burnside, it feels like this isn’t rare enough to shock anyone anymore, and that’s a problem. Has anyone heard anything from the community meetings? Are community leaders making any headway with local officials? Really hoping to see more resources dedicated to preventing these tragedies and offering real support to those who’ve lost loved ones to senseless violence. Cornelius deserves justice, and his family needs peace.
