I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Kent Mitchell was killed. The 1500 block of South Millard Avenue isn’t somewhere you’d expect something like this to happen in broad daylight. It must have been terrifying for both Kent and anyone else who might have been nearby. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area or witnesses who haven't come forward yet. I keep hoping that anyone with information will step up and help give his family some answers. This senseless violence impacts so many lives, and it’s hard to imagine the pain his loved ones must be feeling right now. Holding them close in my thoughts.
