Hey all, I’ve been following the case of Tatiana Baker and her friends, and one detail that's sticking with me is the pursuit route taken by the perpetrators in the Equinox. The chase started near the Eisenhower Expressway and ended around Laramie Avenue and Roosevelt Road. It’s baffling and terrifying to think about how chaotic those moments must have been on those streets. It’s so concerning how even public spaces can suddenly become crime scenes. I can’t imagine the fear the occupants of the Kia must have felt while trying to escape an armed predator. Seeing how intertwined the highway system is with Chicago’s neighborhoods, it’s alarming that such a dangerous chase could happen in such densely populated areas. My heart goes out to the families who are grappling with this unimaginable loss. I hope for any eyewitnesses or surveillance footage to emerge that could bring some clarity and lead to arrests. Does anyone else from Chicago have thoughts on the areas where the chase occurred? Could there be possible hotspots for cameras or businesses that might help?
