I was reading about Jorge Chavez and something struck me—why hasn't there been more talk about the community's role in helping solve this tragedy? It's been almost three years and we're still waiting for justice. The neighborhood must have seen or heard something that night, especially since it happened at 7 p.m. It’s a busy area and I'm sure someone knows more than they’ve shared. I can only imagine how painful it must be for Jorge's loved ones to not have closure. If anyone has any information, no matter how minor it may seem, it's crucial to come forward. Working together as a community is important to prevent this from becoming yet another cold case. My heart goes out to his family, who deserve answers and peace.

I've been thinking about the role of community involvement in tragic cases like Jorge Chavez's. It's deeply saddening to imagine what his family and friends must be going through, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. I recall reading about other communities where neighborhood watch programs have been really effective. I wonder if something similar could help in areas like West Lawn, where there seems to be a recurring issue with violence. It might not solve everything, but it could be a step toward creating safer environments and possibly aiding in unresolved cases. Does anyone here have experience with such initiatives, and do they actually make a difference in getting justice in cases like Jorge's? My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
