Hey everyone, I've been following Abel Jaimes Soto’s case for a while now, and something that keeps catching my attention is how little media coverage there seems to be. It’s been over seven years, and there’s almost nothing in the news about updates or efforts to find him. I know McAllen isn’t a massive city, but you’d think there would be more focus or at least some locals sharing his story more widely. Have any of you noticed missing persons cases in smaller towns getting less attention compared to bigger cities? I feel like awareness can make such a huge difference in these investigations. Would love to hear your thoughts or any tips on how to amplify missing persons cases in local communities. Let’s keep his name out there.
I've been following Abel Jaimes Soto's case for a while and something that stands out to me is the lack of surveillance evidence. We live in a time where cameras are almost everywhere, especially in cities. McAllen isn't huge, but it's developed enough to have decent coverage. You'd think there'd be some trace of Abel on camera around the time he disappeared. Was there no footage of him walking around, or in a store, or even just driving? It's strange how there seems to be no digital footprint after September 13, 2016. If anyone knows more about the surveillance angle or if it was even a factor in the investigation, I'd love to hear thoughts. Let’s keep sharing and hopefully, something comes up that sheds light on his whereabouts.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Abel Jaimes Soto's case for a while, and something that's been bugging me is the timeline of his last known whereabouts. On September 13, 2016, Abel was last seen in McAllen, Texas, but there hasn't been much information released about what he was doing earlier that day or who he might've been with. It's like there's this big gap in the story just waiting to be filled.
If anyone out there remembers seeing him or talking to him before he disappeared, it could really piece together some of those missing details. Every little bit counts when it comes to these cases, right? Maybe even just a description of what he was wearing could spark something. Thoughts?
