I've been following Ny'Andrea's case closely, and my heart truly goes out to her family and loved ones. I've lived in the Chicago area all my life, and it's always so tough seeing young lives taken away like this. I was reading about the memorial her family planned, and it sounds like such a beautiful way to honor her memory. The fact that her family is celebrating her love of dancing and her favorite colors shows how much joy she brought into their lives. The justice system has a lot on its shoulders with this case, and it’s frustrating to think it took a tragedy like this to highlight the urgency of the gun violence problem in Chicago. I hope measures are put in place to prevent something like this from happening again, and that Ny'Andrea's family finds some comfort in knowing so many people are standing with them, demanding justice and change.
