It's been over two years, and I'm still thinking about Verico Veal and where the investigation stands. It’s frustrating and devastating that there's been no resolution for his family. I keep wondering about that silver or white SUV. It seems so distinctive—are there really no leads on it? Why has no one come forward with more information? This incident happened in the early hours, but someone must have seen something, right?
I've read through other cases where communities have banded together to bring justice, and it just feels like this needs to happen here, too. Anyone from the Morgan Park area who might have heard or seen anything, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please consider contacting the authorities.
