Has anyone heard anything new about the investigation into Derrick McCampbell’s case? It’s deeply unsettling that Derrick and Haniff lost their lives in such a brutal manner, and it’s been over two years with no arrests. I live nearby in Chicago, and the fear and loss our community feels is just overwhelming. It just makes you wonder how many families have to endure such pain before real change happens.
I saw some local advocacy groups organizing peace marches and vigils in West Garfield Park to honor victims like Derrick and Haniff. I think these movements are incredible and show the strength of our community. It’s so important to keep their memory alive and continue pushing for change.

Has anyone looked into the security cameras in the area of West Wilcox Street around the time Derrick McCampbell was shot? I've read that many businesses and some residential areas have cameras, and they might have caught something helpful for the police. It's tough to comprehend that Derrick and Haniff lost their lives, and yet there seems to be so little information or movement on finding who did this. My heart goes out to their families. I hope the community can come together to push for answers and ensure such senseless violence doesn't continue unchecked.
