Does anyone else find it strange that even after the discovery of Billy Gene Hammonds' remains, there's been no mention of how exactly he died? It's been quite some time since they identified him, and you'd think they would release some details about the cause of death. I get that they might not want to compromise the investigation, but it's like this massive blank spot in the case. It almost feels like there's a bigger story here that's just waiting to come out. Where he was found so many years later, behind a house during an unrelated investigation—how does that even happen? I can't shake the feeling that someone out there knows a lot more than they're letting on. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on behind the scenes with this case?
Hey everyone, I've been following Billy Gene Hammonds' case and something's been bugging me ever since they found his remains last year. I can’t stop thinking about that bloody shoe they found during the initial searches. Could it have belonged to someone else involved in all this? It just seems odd they couldn't link it to Billy, but could it be a piece of the puzzle pointing to someone who crossed paths with him? I know it might be a stretch, but sometimes little details lead us to big answers. Anyone have thoughts or similar cases where evidence couldn’t be linked directly but still played a part in solving the case? Let’s get justice for Billy!
Does anyone else find it really concerning how many years it took to find Billy Gene Hammonds' remains, even though they were just buried behind a house? This makes me wonder how many other missing persons might be closer to home than we think. It feels like his family did so much to keep his case alive—events, outreach, and yet, he was so close the whole time. It’s scary to think about how many missing person cases might not get the same attention and resources. What more can we do to ensure other families don’t go through such a long and painful ordeal? Does anyone have any ideas or know of any organizations that might be able to help spotlight other cases like this?
