I've been following the case of Ciera Jones, and it's absolutely devastating to hear about what happened on June 18, 2021. The way the community came together in the aftermath was really touching. It makes me think about the trauma that must be affecting the child who was in the car during the shooting. No child should have to witness such violence, and I hope they're receiving the support they need to process this tragic event. Also, it's concerning that this was reportedly gang-related—how does this cycle of violence ever end? My heart goes out to Ciera's family and everyone involved. Let's keep pushing for answers and an end to the violence gripping our cities.
