It’s so difficult to comprehend how a young student like Max Solomon Lewis could fall victim to such a tragic accident while simply commuting home. I can’t stop thinking about his incredible future that was so abruptly taken away. His involvement in UChicago’s Alpha Epsilon Pi and the finance world with Promontory speaks volumes about his potential. I didn't know him personally, but it's clear from the many stories being shared that he was deeply respected and loved.
The CTA shooting details are eerily unsettling, especially with how random and yet destructive this violence turned out to be. The fact that no arrests have been made is disturbing, and I really hope the Chicago Police can find some solid leads soon. Until then, my heart goes out to Max’s family, friends, and everyone at UChicago. It’s tough noticing how fragile life can be, so let’s remember to offer support and love, embodying kindness like Max apparently did every day.
I've been reading through Max Lewis's case, and it's just so deeply upsetting. I can't stop thinking about those chaotic moments on the CTA train and how one seemingly ordinary day could turn so devastating. I came across a piece about the memorial fund set up in his honor, and it’s truly moving to see how much love and support his family and friends are receiving from the community. It’s a testament to the impact Max had on those around him. I hope the fund brings his family some comfort during this painful time. But it’s also maddening to think that the investigation hasn’t brought about any major leads yet. The thought that the person responsible is still out there worries me. Let’s keep this discussion going and put more attention on this case. Maybe the right person will speak up or come forward with information that leads to some justice for Max and his loved ones.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Max Lewis's case, and I keep wondering about the random and senseless nature of his death. It's just devastating to think about how he wound up being an unintended victim of such a reckless act of violence. He was just living his life, pursuing his dreams, and riding the train home like countless other students do every day.
I read that the bullet came through the window, which makes it seem like it was fired randomly, but it makes me think about the shooter. Where is this person now? What was going through their mind? It’s frustrating that there's so little information about who might be responsible. I can't imagine the frustration and anguish Max's family and friends must be feeling, knowing that the person who took him from them hasn’t been brought to justice yet.
If anyone hears about updates or details, please share. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Max. ?️
