I've been following the tragic case of Walter D. Seamster and it just really hits home how these cases often go without swift justice. I've been thinking about the role technology could play in cases like this. In particular, has there been any update on whether surveillance cameras in the area might have captured anything useful the night Walter was murdered? It seems like nowadays almost every street corner in areas like Woodlawn has at least one camera. I imagine this could be crucial in piecing together the events leading up to the tragedy, or perhaps even identifying the suspect. My heart goes out to Walter’s family and friends—I can’t even begin to imagine their pain and frustration as they wait for answers. It’s a stark reminder of how important it is for the community to remain vigilant and supportive. If anyone has additional details on the investigation concerning this aspect, it could really help shed light on the situation.
