Just stumbled across Martha Alice Mertz’s case and something doesn't sit right with me. I can't stop wondering about that suitcase her husband mentioned. Why wasn’t there more focus on what might’ve been in it? I mean, if we knew what she typically packed when she left after arguments, maybe there’d be some clue about where she intended to go this time—if she indeed left on her own. Plus, how did anyone just accept that detail without pressing for specifics? Considering she'd always reached out to family before... it’s just puzzling that she’d vanish without a trace this time. Thoughts?
