Hey everyone, I've been following Angel Figueroa's case and something that really sticks out to me is how quickly they managed to identify and arrest Justin Cortes. It's a small relief, given the tragic circumstances, to see law enforcement put together such a strong case with the surveillance footage and cellphone data. Knowing that his family is hopefully getting some justice can’t erase their pain, but it's a step towards resolution.
I can't begin to imagine the trauma his girlfriend and daughter are going through, having witnessed such a horrific event.
