I was reading about the tragic death of Jeremy Head, and I can't stop thinking about the 69-year-old man who was also shot in that laundromat. It's horrifying to imagine just going about your day, something as mundane as doing laundry, and ending up in the middle of such violence. I hope he’s recovered fully, but emotionally, that must be so hard to come to terms with. I've been wondering if his testimony or any eyewitness accounts could play a big role in the case against the 17-year-old suspect. It’s really concerning how any random place can become dangerous in an instant. This incident really underscores how important it is for us to support efforts to reduce gun violence and make our communities safer. Thoughts and prayers for the families involved and for some healing for the neighborhood.
