I was thinking about the impact of surveillance footage in this case. It seems like without the gas station video, linking Davion Fountain to the crime might have been much harder. It's tough to imagine how technology plays such a critical role in solving cases like this. While nothing can bring Laquan Jernigan back, at least there is some evidence to move forward with. My thoughts are with his family, who must be going through unimaginable pain right now. It's cases like these that really highlight the importance of reliable evidence in seeking justice for victims.
