The fact that Demarius Burnside’s case still hasn't seen justice just seems so frustrating. I came across an older article mentioning the community's hope for progress, but here we are with no updates. I feel deeply for his family and friends, must be this lingering nightmare they can't wake up from. I’ve been following similar cases, and the frustrating pattern of suspects being released only to have no further action taken seems all too common. Why do these investigations stall? We need more transparency from authorities on what's holding the process back. Is it lack of evidence, witness cooperation, or something else entirely? Demarius wasn’t just another statistic, he was a person loved by many, and I can only imagine how difficult it is for those who knew him to still be in the dark about what really happened that night. Let's hope the investigators find the missing pieces they need soon. If anyone hears anything new, please share here. Keeping Demarius and his family in my thoughts.
